I just saw an ask a few pages back about someone of Japanese origin trying to tell you how much it offends them when whites wear kimonos or mock japanese culture, and all you said was "okie dokie, glad you got that off your chest." I sincerely hope that is NOT sarcasm. I have relatives that were affected by the Hiroshima bombing. Japanese ALSO count as POC, I hope you know. We are a minority in many parts of the world. And we still get ridiculed just as much as anyone else. I'm sickened.

I'm pretty much reading this entire blog right now--thanks so much for your efforts! It wasn't until I came to college and started getting involved in public affairs studies that I realized what an astoundingly racist and white-centric education I got growing up, and while some of my classes address race, it's blogs like this one that are truly informing me about current issues and ideas coming straight from PoC instead of whitewashed history texts. So basically thanks for being rad!
